Description:

Following the recent amalgamation of local authorities in north and south Tipperary, CHL was commissioned to develop a new tourism strategy for the county that identified key strategic priorities, had the support of the industry and was grounded in a practical and detailed action plan. Our work included: an assessment of the market environment; a review of comparators; a ‘mystery shop’ exercise of key areas within the county; industry workshops; identification of structures that would deliver the final plan; identification of resource needs and potential funding partners; a marketing plan. The final plan included, among other elements, recommendations and actions with regard to industry development, destination development, proposition development and marketing.
